I play in local shows/bands and need a keyboard that is easy to use and program with a number of sounds/split keyboard/easy to change during a shows score/realistic, with a good expressive piano feel being a pianist. I have a Juno g but find it incredibly difficult to learn how to use and to program. I was recommended the m-audio 88 hammer action with software. I would like your option please and current best price. I have urgent need for something. Thanks!

I have had a look through your email and spoken to a colleague here (Tom) who is a piano/keyboard player.
You would be able to use something such as the AXUS Stage Piano (AXS-2) which has a full-size 88 note (Which is weighted) - it includes 6 one-touch memory settings for various split-points, voices etc. and it has midi and USB out for if you wanted to use it as a controller (there is even a midi in function too). This is at the unbelievable cost of only £329 including stand, bench and headphones.

Many thanks for the reply. Looks a nice keyboard. However, I have a Yamaha DGX640 as well, and I'm not sure if it will give me much more than this?
I think the other thing that is key is that I need something that will allow me to programe a range of sounds and have quick changing from programmed sound, and be able to store the sounds for quick access (ie during a show, I will be needing to change sounds a number of times during single songs etc). I am really struggling to find something that gives me the ability to be able to do this without being hugely complicated!. Does the Axus allow you to do this?

Hello there Kate,
The AXUS does have the six programmable presets so you would have up to six buttons to provide you with instant pre-set (by yourself) modes. So, for example... you would be able to switch from an electronic organ voice with a split-point of middle 'c' and then switch to strings ensemble with a split-point of lower 'a' at the touch of a button.
Now, the above is only an example of what you would be able to do, but from past experience there is a lot of variety with the Axus for the user. Its easy to use and above everything else... it has an amazing price point!
