We're thinking of designing a cartoon style character for Norman! Something that can be used on our social media platforms and maybe incorporated in marketing material to schools, I also feel we could develop an idea for 'Ask Norman' Q & A articles so the character would need to be something we could use for that purpose too, and across a range of customer types.
To get the process started I'd like you all to have a quick think about what type of character Norman should be?
Is Norman a human, animal, super hero etc. ?
What characteristics/personality traits would Norman have?
What kind of art style, Disney, South Park etc.?
I'd like you to spend just a few minutes thinking about this and looking at various images on the web to see if you can find an idea we could base our character on. Then send me an email with an image of existing characters, photos of people or animals etc along with a few words on how you would describe Norman.
It's important that you do this (a) on your own so we get as many individual ideas as possible (b) don't spend too long on it so we get spontaneous ideas and (c) be as creative/off the wall as you like
A little bit of fun for a Friday afternoon which hopefully we can use to develop into a good marketing tool!
