I wonder if you might be able to advise me on a violin purchase please?
I am adult so looking for a full sized violin to play with my daughter who is learning on one of your Stentor violins which has been super and she loves.
What violin would you recommend for me? Any ideas. I used to be grade 5 so am mid range ability and would like a lovely soft tone violin, - that said it’s only really for a little play with my daughter and money is tight so your recommendation would be most welcome so I don’t make a mistake,

Thanks for your email. There are few violins worth considering.
For learning on a budget, the Forenza instruments are worth looking at - coming in at just £59.40, the Forenza Prima 2 is becoming more and more popular in education circles thanks in part to the price but also the quality it still holds, despite being such a low price! Also included in the price is a case and bow. It won't break any records but for a functional instrument to accompany your daughters learning with, you can't go wrong!

If you'd rather stay with Stentor, I'd recommend the Stentor II. It's a little pricier at £116.03, but is largely the instrument of choice for students of all ages and will come thoroughly recommended by many education advisors. As with the Forenza this comes with a case and bow.

If, however, you fancied spoiling yourself, I'd look at the Stentor Conservatoire. Designed for the more advanced student, the Conservatoire utilises more selective wood in the construction which allows for a much nicer, more precise tone. This might also allow you to 'hand it down' to your daughter as she progresses with her playing in a few years time. This also comes with a professional style 'oblong' case and bow in the price at £205.70.
