When adding orders to SOP can you make sure that we have the correct Phone Number, Order Contact and email Address in Sales Processing. This is important both for new accounts and new orders on old accounts.
Without the email address we are unable to utilise our new and improved email marketing system to it's full potential. As an example, Kayleigh and I this morning found a School account that and been set up nearly a year ago for a small order of around £10.00. There was an Order & Account contact name, but no email addresses or telephone number! Whilst this was only a very small order, I can't help thinking that if an email had been captured and imported to our email database, they may well have been tempted by one of our email offers in the past twelve months and spent some more money? Ideally an email to the decision maker/order contacts mailbox is best (ie. jsmith@ rather than office@) but even in smaller schools when they only have one central address, just having this is far better than nothing.
Please ensure we get emails for every order, regardless of size, as you never know what further contact may lead to. We are working hard on improving both the quality and volume of our email marketing campaigns but if we don't feed quality data into the system initially we will never reap the full benefits.
