Hi,
Could you tell me the difference between Tanglewood 145 ASC and 145 SC, please?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
The only difference between the two is the mahogany back. The 145ASC has a solid, single piece mahogany back and the 145SC just has a mahogany back, but it is not a single piece.
This is the reason for the price difference, as large sheets of mahogany are quite expensive. The solid piece of mahogany will offer a slightly different tonal response to the 145SC - mahogany is particularly good with mellow, soft, warm tones. The 145ASC will be heavier also thanks to the mahogany.
All the other specifications - Solid Cedar top, rosewood fingerboard, EQ, Pickups etc are exactly the same.
