It is with great regret that I need to inform you all that unfortunately Emma (our new web lady) will not be able to continue working for us.
For those of you who weren't aware, Emma is from Tanzania and had recently graduated from Nottingham University. In order for her to work full time in the UK she needed to apply for a work permit/visa and be Sponsored by Normans. It became apparent that due to the nature of the role she was undertaking here she would be unlikely to be granted such a permit. It was therefore best for both parties that we didn't proceed any further and Emma will not be joining Normans full time.
I am personally very disappointed as I felt she could have been a very valuable addition to the team but nothing can be taken for granted when the Home Office are involved.
We will obviously be looking for another person to take on the responsibility of email campaigns and web site/listing upgrades but in the meantime please direct any queries in that area to me.
